Grant funding (capital grants) for small scale investment in micro and small enterprises in rural areas
OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
We’re offering grants for businesses that take on empty commercial premises in the town centre to help them with the costs of fitting them out and buying essential equipment.
OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS
The scheme is offering grants from £25,000 up to £100,000 to landlords/leaseholders to refurbish vacant or under-utilised property into flexible co-working spaces.Grant recipients must therefore make at least a £75,000 contribution toward total costs to be able to receive a grant of £25,000 or at least £300,000 to be able to receive a grant of £100,000.
SCHEME PAUSED
The Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Programme Grant Scheme is now paused, as we have awarded nearly all the funding.
Grants will be awarded to eligible businesses on a first come first served basis until the total amount of funded allocated to the Sustainable & Inclusive Growth Grant has been spent.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. Cheshire East Council (CEC) is the lead authority for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in Cheshire East. It has overall accountability for how the Fund is administered in the borough.
